The Cleartech Stop treatment is effective against filamentous algae, known as blanketweed. When blanketweed forms on a pond it can look unsightly and can cause damage to the ponds pump and filter system. This in turn can reduce their effectiveness and ultimately cause a breakdown of pond equipment. STOP Blanketweed is quick acting and can easily and safely remove the blanketweed without presenting danger to the fish or natural plants within the pond. Please Note: The product should NOT be used when frogs or toads are spawning, nor should it be used in a wildlife pond due to the lack of water circulation and lower oxygen levels. Pure Pond Gel 500ml The Pure Pond Gel is a biodegradable ball treatment delivery system, crammed full of live bacteria that will slowly release when they are needed the most. The effective balls will help remove ammonia and nitrite in the pond water resulting in healthy and crystal clear water. Pure Pond can be added to a filter, when starting up a new filter or if you need to increase biological activity in your eco system. Pure Pond has over 8 Million bacteria per litre, enough to ensure your pond is shiner then ever before. Set includes 1 x 1kg Stop Blanketweed 1 x 500ml Pure Pond Gel Directions To treat your pond with Stop Blanketween, first calculate the amount of water in your pond. Apply 30 grams (one scoop) pf powder per 900 litres / 198 gallons. Mix the powder thoroughly with pond water in a suitable clean container. Then distribute evenly over the pond surface. Add this dose once per week until the blanketweed has gone. Usually after 3 weeks. One or two additional doses may be needed in some ponds. Continue to dose once a month to prevent the blanket weed returning. If water temperatire is below 8 degree C, trreatment efficiency is reduced.
