A clear, single pack, low viscosity penetrating concrete dustproofer that is designed to soak into the substrate, sealing the surface and preventing dust formation while also being perfect for use as a sealer/ primer coat to be used prior to the application of Everest Floor PU Paints providing excellent adhesion of subsequent topcoats. This product will reduce any risk of delamination due to poor penetration of heavy topcoats. Suitable for use on its own as a highly effective dustproofer and heavy-duty concrete sealer or as with "Everest Trade Polyurethane (PU) Floor Paints" to prime the surface for painting, Can be used on bare or painted concrete. Not to be used with waterbased acrylic or alkyd floor paint. SPREADING RATE (Coverage) Approximately 6-10 square metres per litre, per coat. This varies depending on the condition and porosity of the concrete. DRYING TIME Under normal circumstances, it should be touch dry in 4 - 6 hours if well ventilated and conditions are dry. Allow at least 8 hours after the last coat for the Everest Trade Paints Floor Primer and Sealer Paint to fully absorb into the concrete and dry. APPLICATION This product can be applied with a Brush, Roller, or Sprayer. Make sure the surface is 100% dry and free from any moisture or contaminants before application. IF YOU'RE USING THIS PRODUCT AS A FLOOR PRIMER/SEALER PRIOR TO APPLICATION OF POLYURETHANE FLOOR PAINT: Apply 1 coat to bare concrete areas. Apply the coat thin (roll coat out) and evenly, trying to avoid any pooling or over application. IF YOU'RE USING THIS PRODUCT AS A STANDALONE CONCRETE SEALER: Apply 2 coats. Apply coats (50 microns per coat) thin (roll coats out) and evenly, trying to avoid any pooling or over application. A 3rd coat can be added if a dark, higher sheen finish is required. STORAGE PRECAUTIONS Store away from heat and flames. Secure lid between uses to prevent paint hardening. THINNERS White spirit or turpentine substitute can be used for thinning. SURFACE PREPARATION Ensure all surfaces are sound and clean, free from algae and moss. Ensure the surface is completely dry and free from condensation and damp. Remove any loose or flaking paint.
