The ENGINEER Screw-Mole TDZ-430 Screw Extraction Set provides a practical solution for removing damaged screws that can no longer be removed using conventional screwdrivers. The system combines a dedicated left-hand drill bit with the ENGINEER Screw-Mole extractor. The left-hand drill bit rotates in the same anti-clockwise direction used to loosen a screw, allowing it to drill into the damaged fastener while simultaneously coaxing the screw to loosen and back out. In some cases, the screw may be removed without the extractor being required. Where additional extraction force is needed, the Screw-Mole extractor is inserted into the prepared pilot hole and turned anti-clockwise. The extractor bites securely into the drilled hole, providing controlled removal with reduced risk of further damage. Suitable for damaged Phillips M4 screws, Torx T15 screws and fasteners up to M5 size, the TDZ-430 is typically used on screw heads measuring between 7.0mm and 9.5mm in diameter.
