- Kevlar Line is mostly used for Flying Single Line Kites. A snap swivel is attached for easy clip to the kite bridle.

The following are recommendations for line/kite match ( kites are measured by wingspan): Kites below 7ft: 40lb~100lb Kites below 9ft: 100lb~150lb Kites below 13ft: 150lb ~ 250lb Kites below 16ft: 200lb~300lb Kites above 16ft: >300lb The recommendations above are for ordinary kite flying. It requires extra attention that kite shapes, kite spar material, the vent part of kitesโฆ all details of kites will contribute to your decisions for kite lines. For example, delta kites of 7ft only need a 100lb kite line, but Rokkaku (hexagon kite) of 7ft needs a 250lb kite line since their venting methods are much different. The stronger the wind, the higher the line strength is required. Always choose a stronger kite line in high wind.
