CARBONIT EM-X Premium - the first activated carbon block filter cartridge with integrated EM ceramics for vitalisation and harmonisation. EM stands for effective microorganisms. For the production of EM-X ceramics, a special fired clay is used, which contains organic material from plants that are millions of years old and food for the effective microorganisms (EM) during the fermentation process of several months. EM ceramic causes, among other things, a reduction of the surface tension of the water and the reduction of the cluster structures. This restores the natural state of the water. The EM-X ceramic is baked into the filter cartridge during production as a powder. This creates a very large contact surface with the water. Together with the proven filter performance of the Carbonit NFP premium filter technology, the ideal water filtration results. Service life: the filter cartridge should be washed after approx. 6 months (according to DIN 1988). Basically, within the 6 months, approx. 10,000 litres of water. However, an earlier change may be required if water flow is reduced. An early change is not a defect of the filter used, but an indication of increased appearance of fine particles in unfiltered water. Filter data: density: 0.45 µm, sintered activated carbon baked together with EM ceramic powder. Flow rate: approx. 2-3 litres per minute, depending on water pressure. Temperature: for technical reasons, use only in cold water up to max. 20 °C, protect from frost.
