Universal dimmer switch. Power MOSFET up to 400 watts. Automatic lamp detection. Stand-by loss only 0.1 watt. Minimum brightness adjustable. With children's room and snooze function. For flush mounting. 45 mm long, 55 mm wide, 18 mm deep. Universal dimmer switch for lamps up to 400 watts, depending on ventilation conditions. Dimmable energy saving lamps and dimmable 230 volt LED lamps also dependent of the lamp electronics. Switching in zero passage with Soft ON and Soft OFF to protect lamps. Universal control voltage 8..230 volt UC, electrically isolated from the supply voltage and switching voltage 230 volt. Short control commands switch on/off, permanent control varies the brightness up to the maximum value. An interruption of control changes the direction of dimming. The set brightness level is stored in the memory functions after switching off. In the On-Max function it is always switched on at maximum brightness level. During a power failure the switch position and the brightness level are stored and optionally switched on upon recovery of the supply voltage. Automatic electronic overload protection and over temperature shut down. With the upper % lamp rotary switches the minimum brightness (fully dimmed) can be set, e.g. for dimmable energy saving lamps. The automatic mode allows the dimming of all types of lamps. With the lower function rotary switch five automatic operation functions can be selected: memory, memoryandsoft on, on max, on maxandsoft on, and on ESVandsoft on. +ESL is a comfort position for energy saving lamps which must be set with a voltage due to design necessity, so that dim and cold can be switched on again. -ESL Comfort is a position for energy saving lamps, which cannot due to their design be dimmed on again. Therefore memory is switched off in this position. In the settings +ESL and -ESL no use of any inductive (wound) transformers can be applied. In addition, the maximum number of dimmable energy saving lamps must be by design lower than in automatic mode. Function setting ESV like memoryandsoft on with setting of a release delay on % lamp rotary switch to 90 minutes if not switched off manually. At the end of warning by dimming down within 1 minute. With children's room function: Turns on with a long button press after about 1 second with lowest brightness level and with further pressing it slowly dims up without changing the last stored brightness level. Snooze function: With a double impulse the lighting is dimmed down from the current dimming position to the minimum brightness. The maximum dim time of 60 minutes depends on the current dimming position and the adjustable minimum brightness can be reduced as required. By short pressing it can be turned off at any time during the dimming. A long pressing during the dimming down process dims up and stops the snooze function. L loads (inductive loads, e.g. wound transformers) and C loads (capacitive loads, e.g. electronic transformers) may not be mixed. R loads (ohmic loads, e.g. 230 volt incandescent and halogen lamps) may be added any time.
