The ELRO FV4310 is a modern designed combi detector that ensures you are warned in case of a rapidly burning or slow smoldering fire and the presence of higher concentrations of carbon monoxide. The detector has 2 different sensors. He has a new generation optical smoke sensor that responds faster to fire, doesn’t give false alarms and is very environmental friendly. In addition, the ELRO FV4310 has a high quality electrochemical sensor which constantly measures the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air. This gas is odorless and invisible, so it cannot be detected without a device. Carbon monoxide is caused by incomplete combustion and can occur in your chimney, water heater or central heating boiler. The ELRO FV4310 complies with the European standards EN50291 and EN14604. ELRO also provides a 10-year warranty on this detector. With this set you can easily attach the detector with screws to your ceiling. Activation is easily done by attaching the combi detector to the mounting plate. After activation, the battery lasts for 10 years. For optimal performance, place the detector approximately 1.5 metres from the floor on the wall. Maintenance To ensure the optimal operation of the sensors, it is important to keep it clean. The easiest way is to clean it once a month with the vacuum cleaner. Never use detergents when cleaning detectors. Additionally, we recommend you to test the functions of the smoke detector every month by pressing the test button.
