Product description A professional grade fully water soluble high potash fruit and flower feed with an NPK element of 7.5-12-36 + TE as well as a range of micro nutrients. It is suitable for a range of flowering plants including dalhlias, cosmos, sunflowers, tomatoes, sweet peppers, aubergines, chillies, cucumbers and more. Flower Buddy has the right amounts of all 3 essential nutrients your flowers need to grow successfully. Plant growth and chlorophyll production depend on nitrogen; and phosphorus helps flowers grow and cope with stress while aiding in energy. Potassium fights disease, improves flower bloom quality and is also important to photosynthesis. Added Magnesium encourages better growth as well as playing a vital role in the plant's sugar processing. Photosynthesis cannot operate correctly without proper metabolism. Seed germination may not occur at all in a plant with a magnesium deficiency. By adding magnesium to Flower Buddy, it allows the plants to gain nutritional balance for successful flowering. Flower Buddy also contains micronutrients zinc, iron, boron, chloride, molybdenum, copper and manganese to help plants to: efficiently use nitrogen; regulate growth; develop blooms; promote proper sugar consumption; and to make use of all available nutrients. APPLICATION RATES: The standard rate of dilution is 1g per litre, applying at 1 litre (diluted) per 10sqm. Results can be varied. For sensitive species (or very young plants) reduce the rate, typically, to 0.5g per litre. For vigorous plants which are fertiliser tolerant the rate can be increased, typically, to 2g per litre. These guidelines are an approximation only and you may need to adjust the mixture according to your own plants. For Tomato Plants: Apply the feed once a week as soon as the first stem (truss) has set (when the flowers have formed small green tomatoes behind them). Increase to twice a week when you have three set trusses. Directions 1. Dilute 1g of Flower Buddy per litre of water. 2. Apply 1 litre (diluted) per 10sqm. 3. For sensitive species or young plants, reduce the rate to 0.5g per litre. 4. For vigorous plants, increase the rate to 2g per litre. 5. For tomato plants, apply the feed once a week when the first stem has set and increase to twice a week when there are three set trusses.
