The ball is the spin. The round pump head sits on a ball joint. So you can adjust the direction of departure at will. In the power regulator, the flow rate is determined. Thanks to the new POWERDIFFUSOR the air supply is metered. And with all this, the filter remains firmly in place. It's not easier. To clean, replace parts or refill filter media, the filter is simply removed from the holder. Now the pump head and filter containers can be detached and re-hooked. After that, the whole filter is hooked on the holder remaining in the aquarium - done! Aquaball absorbs water on large surfaces. The round filter modules are designed to evenly suck up aquarium water from all sides on almost the entire outer surface. Inner filter and 1 Powerhead models filter and ventilate aquariums up to 200 l volume, or provide flow. Up to 650 litres of pump power, particularly quiet generated by the ceramic shaft, offer a variety of application possibilities. Aquaball models are modular. This means that by adding or removing filter elements, the volume of the filter can be adjusted to the aquarium simply with the EHEIM aquaball extension kit (art. 4020080). Thanks to the modular structure, the filter cartridges or media can be cleaned by a difference, thus protecting cleaning bacteria. Filter Structure: All components are held together or inserted during aquaball. For this, no auxiliary tools are needed, really child's play. The filter holder clip mounts with suction cups on the disc. Then the filter is inserted here. Just below the rotating pump head is the Mediabox (except Powerhead and 2006). It can be filled with a felt filter for finely filtering, a filter mat for biological filtration, with pro or active EHEIM substrate. In the package you will find the blue filter mat. Below sit the filter modules with the phenol-free filter sponges (the volume can be increased later by purchasing an expanded kit). In the accessories you will also find activated carbon cartridges that quickly and efficiently remove odors or remnants of medicines from the water. The power of the pump is regulated by the rotary button. The included POWERDIFFUSOR produces many small air bubbles that are carried away in the aquarium. Accessories: Aquaball is fully equipped. However, we offer a number of useful accessories: instead of the POWERDIFFUSORS you can use elements of the installation kit, for example, extension parts (art. 4009620) and the nozzle set of the Mediabox (in the package with filter mat for biofiltration) different filter media (felt, mat, pro substrate, active EHEIM) can be used. Both biological filter cartridges as well as adsortively functioning filter sponges can be used in surround suction filter modules.
