Easy Wood Tools Micro Rougher was designed for turning smaller projects such as pens, ice cream scoop handles, finials, etc. They are ideal for roughing a workpiece blank till it is round then switch over to the EWT Finisher. These cutters are designed to be held horizontal and flat on the tool rest while turning. Which makes our tools safer. Simply advance the tool slowly into the workpiece, and begin cutting straight in or sweep the cutter from left to right or right to left.
