The Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 and Clause 13.2.1 of BS 8629:2019 Part 1 for evacuation alert systems in buildings containing flats, gives a requirement to display a square or rectangular sign, bearing the words Evacuation Alert Control & Indicating Equipment “EACIE: For Fire and Rescue Service Use Only”, that should be fixed to the door of the cabinet. This sign helps ensure the fire service know where to find critical information.
