In this creative party game, you try to guess the secret word together. The highlight: Only one person knows it – everyone else gives clues to bring you closer to the solution. Whether you are all on one wavelength is on another sheet. Is a volcano more "hot" or "cold" compared to the word you are looking for? Does a goldfish fit better with "summer vacation" or "everyday office life"? The whistleblower must ask these questions. Each round is a mix of association, gut feeling, and absurd explanations. This creates funny discussions, surprising flashes of mind and lots of laughs. Hot or Cold is the ideal word game for teenagers and adults aged 14 and up - whether for the next game evening, birthday, shared house evening or as a gift idea. Playable with 2 to 10 people - the more join, the hotter it gets! Ready for heated discussions with time pressure? How it works: From the 176 terms, a 4x4 grid with 16 random terms is laid. Only the whistleblower knows through a random key card which term must be found by the other players (the agents). A game consists of 5 rounds of 90 seconds, in which the agents get 5 clues in the form of opposites. Example: The word you are looking for (example: cat) is X (sweet) rather than Y (sour). Accordingly, the agents only remove the terms that are rather Y (sour) - they do not want to remove the secret word and lose it. The agents only know through the whistleblower which terms could not be in question. Multiple terms can and should also be removed (at least one term per round). After the time has elapsed, the whistleblower reveals after each round whether the search term is still in play. If this is the case, it continues to the next round.
