About this item
- Dwarf Patio Fiesta Apple Tree in a 5L Pot, Miniature Tree, Self-Fertile ,Sweet,Sharp & Juicy
- Fiesta is a medium-sized apple, with the characteristic flecked red and orange flush over yellow - a very attractive autumnal colouring. It is crisper than Cox, and in some ways a more accessible easier-eating apple than its parent. It is also quite juicy and is a very good variety for making your own apple juice from.
- Common Name: Apple Genus: Malus Species: domestica Cultivar: 'Fiesta' Skill Level: Beginner Exposure: Full sun Hardiness: Hardy Soil type: Well-drained/light, Clay/heavy, Acidic, Chalky/alkaline
- A blushing red and yellow beauty of an apple, with a fine flavour and crunchy flesh, the Fiesta is one of the best offspring of the famous Cox's Orange Pippin and, unlike its parent, is easy to grow. Basically a sweet tasting apple, Fiesta has preserved some of the subtle blend of flavours that make Cox so great, though it can't really be called a substitute. They juice well and are good for storage - after picking in late September.
- It is partially self-fertile. For better fruiting plant a compatible partner: Braeburn, Cornish Aromatic, Discovery, Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Greensleeves, Grenadier, Howgate Wonder, James Grieve, Katy, Malus Evereste, Malus Golden Hornet, Malus John Downie, Pitmaston Pine Apple, Red Devil Spartan, Worcester Pearmain
- The leaves will start to appear autumnal and slightly shabby from mid-June onwards. This is not a disease but is mainly due to this year’s contrasting weather conditions and will not affect the performance of the tree.

They juice well and are good for storage - after picking in late September, Fiesta Apples last into the new year without too much loss of flavour. Being partially self-fertile, you can get away with not having a pollination partner, though your crop size will suffer a bit. Fiesta is a mid-late season flowerer and can cross pollinate with any tree in the mid or late season categories.

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.
The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
