- DWARF FRENCH BEAN PURPLE TEEPEE SEEDS: Wonderfully flavoured purple beans that turn a rich dark green when cooked. The pods are produced in abundance on the top of the plant making for easy picking and helping pods to develop long and straight as well as keeping them cleaner and free of disease.
- SOW: April to July, HARVEST: June to October, SEEDS: 100 Approx.
- FOR OUTDOOR SOWING: WHEN – May to early July. WHERE - In a prepared seed bed, delay sowing if soil is cold or waterlogged. HOW - Sow two seeds together 25cm apart, in rows 45cm apart. Cover with 5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. CARE - When large enough thin to strongest seedling. Support with twigs in windy sites if necessary. Keep moist and weed free. HARVEST – July to October. Pick regularly to encourage further cropping.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN - April to May. WHERE - In pots of moist compost. HOW - Sow one or two seeds per pot. Cover with 2.5cm of fine compost. Cover pots with glass or polythene. Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at approx. 15-20℃. Seedlings appear 7-14 days. CARE - Remove cover when seedlings appear. Stand outside for a few days in May (avoid frosts). Transplant seedlings 25cm apart in rows 45cm apart. Support with twigs in windy sites if necessary. Keep moist and weed free.
- HARVEST - June to October. Pick regularly to encourage further cropping.
