GPL-205 IS AN EXCELLENT ALL-PURPOSE GRADE OF KRYTOX GREASE, PERFECT FOR MANY INDUSTRIAL AND AUTOMOTIVE APPLICATIONS. Always follow original equipment manufacturer's instructions. KRYTOX lubricants are high performance greases composed of perfluoropolyether (PFPE) based oils with sub-micron particles of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as thickener. Pioneered by DuPont and developed for NASA Space Missions in the 1960s, now the lubrication solution of choice in conditions of temperature extremes, high oxygen content and chemical environments. KRYTOX is chemically inert, has no reaction with oxygen, and is extremely high and low temperature stable. DuPont continuously experiments with Krytox to expand the range of consumer applications. In various studies over the years, Krytox was tested at temperatures greater than 900°F (482°C) in the presence of oxygen and at pressures up to 35 bar with no ignition. Krytox greases are recommended by many major bearing manufacturers for long-life lubrication in severe applications. The superior film-forming capability of Krytox grease provides a thicker oil layer and reduces wear. Krytox grease is compatible with all metals and seal materials.
