The High-Speed Steel Round Die is designed for making new threads or rethreading existing ones. Its combination of hardness and toughness ensures excellent wear resistance, making it suitable for general-purpose applications. The die is chamfered on both faces: one side with a 2 to 3-thread chamfer for standard threading and the other with a 1 to 1-1/2-thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder.
