Product and usage description: Double-sided, strong adhesive strips made of transparent, thin and tearproof PET-film, coated on both sides with a solvent/acrylate adhesive. Due to excellent initial adhesion, strong permanent adhesive strength and excellent resistance to ageing, UV light, heat and moisture, the adhesive strips are ideal for mounting items and objects made from different materials on smooth, rough as well as on low-energy and difficult to stick surfaces such as polyethylene and polypropylene. The most common applications of these adhesive strips are in the bonding of plastic parts in the electrical industry, of rubber parts in furniture manufacturing or in the assembly of merchandise displays. For ease of use, our double-sided adhesive strips are equipped with a protruding cover on both sides. Technical data of mounting adhesive strips: Adhesive: Solvent acrylate modified. Supporting material: PET film, transparent, 125 Total thickness: approximately 0.24 mm. - Cover: silicone paper. Peeling force (AFERA 4001, 180°): 10 minutes 32 N/25 mm, 24 hours 41 N/25 mm. Cutting force (ASTM D-1002): 10 minutes 125 N/625 mm2, 24 hours 141 N/625 mm2. Long-term temperature range: -20 °C to +80 °C. Temperature range: -30°C to 120°C. Storage conditions: Under normal storage conditions at room temperature (50% relative air humidity) and approximately + 20 °C, the storage time of the double-sided adhesive strips (in original packaging) is 12 months after receipt by the customer.
