Double Sided Butyl Tape is for joining membranes used in building and construction to prevent the passage of water and/or air, for example damp proof membranes and vapour control layers. This tape is black in colour and has excellent adhesion properties. This product has many uses such as: · Jointing of damp proof membranes & cavity trays · Automotive seals · Pond liner repair & joining ( cold glue ) · Waterproofing & Tanking · Lapping & Jointing construction seals · Air seal For best results - Clean all surfaces and make sure they are clean, dry, free of grease, dust, mortar and any other debris. Warming of product may be required if jointing under 10°C.
