The L113201 set of tools contains both taps to create internal threads and also the corresponding drill sizes so you can be sure you have the right size drills to make the holes for the threads. The drills are Dormer's A002 jobber drills with a specially designed 118 degree split point which helps to self-center the drill when drilling by hand so no wandering over the surface of the workpiece, and you also get a more accurate sized hole with a better finish. The titanium nitride coated tip increases the life of the drill and improves performance when drilling hard materials. The high speed steel material is suitable for drilling a wide range of materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steels, with confidence of a good result every time. For threading we have the E000 tap which creates a metric coarse thread type. Suitable for a wide range of materials the E000 is particularly suited for threading soft steel, copper and aluminium. The E000 has bright finish to prevent work piece material from sticking to the cutting edge and a spiral point design which makes it suitable for threading all the way through the material. In the L113201 set there are seven A002 drills to drill the holes and seven E000 taps to create the threads – all contained in a handy plastic box to satisfy your threading requirements.
