The F330 adjustable hand die will produce Unified Fine (UNF) external threads. Manufactured from High Speed steel, F330 taps will give good performance and a long tool life, and produce clean and accurate threads thanks to the bright finish, which prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool. With split dies you can make adjustments to get different tolerances or fits to suit your need. F330 hand dies should be held in an appropriate die stock such as Dormer's L110 and can be used to create external threads in many materials including steels, stainless steels and aluminium.
