The F300 adjustable split die from Dormer creates metric coarse threads. It should be used by hand held with an appropriate die stock like Dormer's L110. Manufactured from High Speed steel for longer tool life and better performance, the F300 adjusts so the required fit or tolerance can be achieved. It has a bright finish which prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges and so gives a cleaner, more accurate thread, and can be used to create external threads in a wide variety of materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steels.
