The E504 is a metric coarse machine tap with a titanium nitride coating which increases the life of the tap and improves performance when under high pressure and friction. The premium High Speed steel used in manufacture ensures good tool life and performance whilst the straight flute design means the tap can be used to thread both through and blind holes. Manufactured to conform to the International Standardization Organization, the E504 comes in a range of metric coarse sizes from M3 to M10 and can be used to thread many materials, including steels, stainless steel and aluminium.
