Pack of 10 coil springs plus 10 circlips for internal door handles. Can be used on both right handed and left handed handles. Spring dimensions are shown in the additional photograph. Circlips are 13.8mm internal diameter (to fit 15mm shaft with 14.3mm groove). When replacing a door handle spring the two most important things to check are a) The orientation of the external hook compared to the internal hook eg. is it a 2-turn coil or a 2.5-turn coil and b) the thickness of the spring (we define thickness as the height of the spring when laid flat). Most springs are retained with a circlip, which can be removed and replaced using external circlip pliers. External circlip pliers are available quite cheaply elsewhere on Amazon. We also offer a 2-turn 2.0mm thick spring. The 2.0mm thick spring has very slightly less than 2 turns and the 1.8mm thick spring has slightly more than 2 turns. When choosing between these springs we suggest choosing on the basis of the number of turns rather than on the basis of thickness as the 0.2mm difference is not that significant. The circlips included are the most common size, as used in the vast majority of door handles. If you wish to check the size of circlip for your handle it is better to measure the shaft rather than the old circlip as some poor quality circlips can become distorted.
