Our Natural Moss is a 100% natural moss for the terrarium in a compact brick shape. The Natural Moss brick comes with approx. 1.5 litres of lukewarm water to swell up and from the small brick are approx. 4.5L ready to use moss. It is ideal to increase the humidity in the terrarium and to keep it stable in the long term. Especially terrarium inhabitants with an increased moisture demand appreciate the Natural Moss. Whether as an aid in the skin of snakes and lizards, as an insert in the so-called wet box* or as a substrate for egg rest and for decoration, the Natural Moss is extremely versatile. Even for plants, our Natural Moss offers a perfect nutrient-rich base. Application: Put the Natural Moss brick in a bucket and add at least 1.5 litres of lukewarm water. After a short time, the moss begins to expand to its full volume. Press the required quantity once briefly by hand. Wet box: a wet box offers the residents the opportunity to refuel moisture. It makes skin easier for animals, provides cooling on hot days, increases fluid absorption over the skin and also improves the skin environment and thus prevents skin diseases. Some types also use this for egg storage. Ideal as a wet box, e.g. the Hobby wood cave 1 + 2 or the Hobby corner cave bark. Please note: the filling material must be changed regularly to avoid mould formation.
