The Discovery Field 10x50 is a water-resistant optical device designed for open-field observations.Based on the classic Porro-scheme, high-aperture 50mm optics gathers lots of light. The lenses are multi-coated with an anti-reflective coating. As both in daylight and at dusk, the optics provides a bright, high-contrast image. With optics made of BK-7 optical glass, the body of the Discovery Field 10x50 is made of durable plastic and is also rubberized. The exterior surface is textured, which prevents the binoculars from slipping out of even wet hands. The binoculars can be mounted on a tripod for stationary observations (a standard 1/4 thread).
