Dianthus Tickled Pink is a popular favourite of our regular gardeners here at Thompson and Morgan. They are fuchsia pink in colour, with ruffled petals, and a unique fragrance. Masses of these lovely flowers will be produced by this plant over the summer months and will attract lots of pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies. The plants grow to a nice compact shape, with silver green leaves spilling out. The bright pink flower heads contrast nice with the foliage, giving an impressive display. This flower is also a favourite of florists and floral arrangers, as it is perfect for making arrangements. Dianthus likes to be planted in full sun, in well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil, that has had rotted manure or garden compost mixed in.
