• Dexeryl is a product (to be applied on healthy skin) indicated in all cases of persistent dryness of the skin, both pathological and physiological nature
• The special technology allows you to insert into the product an important amount of water that binds to glycerol and is made quickly available on the skin surface (saturated glycerol). Filmogenic substances (paraffin and petroleum jelly) then have the task of stabilizing the water supplied to the skin, limiting its evaporation. This simple mechanism of action makes Dexeryl a useful product in forms of persistent xerosis. Dexeryl is fragrance-free and no dyes and lanolin.

Dryness of the skin is a very frequent situation, both in winter due to cold and pollution, and in summer, when the skin is exposed for a long time to the sun. The definition of skin dryness is still based on empirical subjective sensations, although, recently, numerous techniques have introduced accurate skin hydration measurement systems (corneometry). There is, of course, a great individual variability: some people complain of constant skin dryness, others only in particular environmental conditions, others only rarely accuse dehydrated skin. Dryness of the skin can vary from a minimum degree, to intense xerosis (accentuated dryness).
