Product Description Pancake Jacks & Sommer Cables As flat as pancake. These robust jacks from Switchcraft offer excellent sound quality and with an unbelievable depth of 11mm give the ability to have your effects pedals as close as possible, at most 25mm (1 inch) apart, this can be best seen in the comparison pictures featured. Ideal for maximising space on your board. Sommer cables give these leads a warm and extremely detailed sound character, particularly in the mid frequencies. The Switchcraft jacks are as solid a Flat jack as you are going to get and believe me we have tried a few to get here, and in our humble opinion well worth the price. Due to the size of the jack manufacturers use as little metal on the shell as possible to save space, cheaper jacks simply break up and snap but these fella’s are made from high quality steel and plated in Nickel.
