Product Description Crystal-Line Maxi long term CO2 test: for permanent and precise monitoring of the CO2 level in the aquarium. Function: CO2 passes from the aquarium water into the test funnel and dissolves in the special CO2 indicator. Depending on the CO2 level, the special indicator reacts with a colour change: blue(lack of CO2), green (optimal CO2 approx. 20 mg/L) or yellow (excess CO2). In contrast to conventional CO2 tests where the indicator is mixed with the aquarium water, the Crystal-Line long-term CO2 test works with the Dennerle special CO2 indicator which is directly ready for use. Advantages: the test always indicates the exact CO2 level, independent of other acids in the aquarium water (e.g. humic acids).
