'Daughter' is the manual I wish I had. 'Daughter' is the realisation that a woman is someone's daughter, sister, friend, lover whilst remaining ultimately hers. 'Daughter' is the understanding of the darkest parts of ourselves, the journey to redemption. it is the complexity of being. 'Daughter' is the facing of monsters, the journey untold, the choices sometimes good,often times bad. The author navigates through themes of coming of age, love, trauma, depression and growing pains, in a journey of self exploration. It is honest, raw and demands a level of self analysis from the reader and the author.
