J Braid Expedition's silicone coating means the braid does not absorb water. This is important because it means that the braid also does not absorb silt and sediment present in water, which is the number one cause of braided line wear over time. By removing water thanks to its hydrophobic properties, J Braid Expedition will outlast traditional braided lines, providing more value and higher performance.
