J-BRAID EXPEDITION X8E The new J-Braid Expedition is the latest addition to the popular J-Braid series. The expedition is also made from high-quality Japanese Izanas fibres and has a significantly tighter braid than most other cords on the market - making the braiding even rounder and more even. In addition to the quality of the raw fibre, the tightness of the braiding is probably the most important criterion for producing a high-quality braided line. DAIWA's innovative silicone 'Coating PE' technology ensures an extremely smooth and soft surface with silicone coating that offers less water resistance and therefore higher sensitivity. The expedition does not absorb water or particles - one of the main reasons for decreasing performance and fading of the line - thus offering significantly higher knot strength and longer service life in permanent use. Made in Japan.
