- DAHLIA SHOWPIECE MIX SEEDS: Large, mostly double flowers in a range of bright colours. The long stems are ideal for cutting or the border. Usually grown as an annual.
- SOW: February to April, FLOWERS: July to October, HEIGHT: 120cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 40 Approx.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN – February to April. WHERE – In trays of seed compost. HOW - Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-28 days.
- CARE - Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant singly into small pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 30cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed free. FLOWERS: July to October. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
