When not in use, it is necessary to store it sealed and away from light. The longer the cyanotype paper is stored, the worse the effect will be. It is recommended to apply another coat of cyanotype solution before using it after getting it
- Easy Solar Printing Process:Coat the paper with the solution in dim light. Step 1: Place your favorite patterns such as paper-cuts and leaves on cyanotype paper, and then press and fix them with a transparent plastic or glass plate.Step 2: Expose to the sun for about 10 minutes. (Note: The stronger the sunlight, the better the bluing effect.Step 3: Take the indigo paper under the tap to rinse it. Be careful not to turn on too much water to avoid damaging the paper. The best time to rinse is when the water flowing out of the paper becomes clear.Step 4: Hang the cleaned indigo paper or place it on a glass mirror to dry. (Note: Air-drying is more effective than sun-drying.)
