About this item
- CUCUMBER CARMEN F1 SEEDS: Top quality crops of large, straight, glossy fruits. Cold tolerant with superb resistance to disease. Excellent source of vitamin C and vitamin A.
- SOW: February to May, HARVEST: July to October, SPACING: 45cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 5 Approx.
- SOW INDOORS: 0.5cm deep, edge down, in small pots of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 20-25C is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 7-21 days. When plants have developed 3 or 4 leaves, transplant to larger pots and grow on in cooler, but not cold conditions. Plant out in large pots, growing bags or greenhouse border.
- Provide support and train plants up canes, strings or netting. Stop lateral growth two leaves past each fruit. Pinch out growing tips when they reach the roof. For best results feed regularly when fruits begin to set.
- Note: *When stressed, plants may form male flowers (no swelling behind petals). These should be removed.

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
