It was made by craftsman Eckhardt Wettlaufer as a birthday gift for his son and became a widespread fashion after the 1880s. The game involves players taking turns throwing one puck each towards the center of the plate, however, after the first disc is on the board, the player must hit another disc on subsequent laps.
