- Scratches on the cutting plates are normal and will not affect use. When embossing, place the embossing folder between the two cutting plates. The included cardstock is slightly wider than the 3.5" slot — please trim it to size and do not fold it, as folding may cause slipping or uneven results. Support the machine with one hand while turning the handle to keep the plates straight. A slight curve in the paper after cutting or embossing is normal and can be flattened easily. Works with 80–240 gsm cardstock only; not suitable for laminated, coated, or extra-thick paper.
