Product Description Covonia Dry & tickly cough sugar free 1.36g/5ml oral solution. A soothing preparation for relief of the symptoms of coughs and sore throats. Covonia dry & tickly cough sugar free Contains glycerol. Always READ THE LABEL. Recommended doses: adults and children over 12 years: two 5ml spoonful's. Children over 1 year: one 5ml spoonful. Dosage schedule repeat dose as required, up to a maximum of 4 times a day. This product may be taken for up to 5 days following which, if symptoms persist, medical advice should be sought. Shake the bottle before use. Ingredients Active Ingredients Per 5ml: Glycerol 1.36g, The Other Ingredients Are: Capsicum Oleoresin 50,000 Ws, Citric Acid (E330), Caramel (E150), Maltitol Liquid, Blackcurrant & Menthol Flavour (Containing E1520 Propylene Glycol), Anise Flavour (Containing E1520 Propylene Glycol), Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Sodium Benzoate (E211) And Purified Water Safety Warning Keep out of the sight and reach of children. 1. Important ingredient information - this medicine contains less than 1mmol sodium (23mg) per 5ml dose, that is to say essentially 'sodium-free'. - this medicine contains 31mg propylene glycol in each 5ml dose. - this medicine contains 2.1mg benzoic acid/benzoate salt in each 5ml dose. 2. Possible side effects there are no known side effects from using this medicine as directed. If you notice any side effects, stop use and tell your doctor or pharmacist.
