Product description Cosmopor E is for sterile dressing of post-operative wounds and/or minor injuries. This pack contains 20 dressings, including: 5 x 15cm x 8cm Dressings 5 x 10cm x 8cm Dressings 10 x 7.2cm x 5cm Dressings The Viscose Core provides high absorbency and cushioning. The Polyethylene net contact layer prevents adherence of the dressing to the wound. Hypoallergenic fibres, permeable to air and water, prevent irritation of surrounding skin, enabling the natural functions of the skin to continue. Cosmopor's strong, fluid-repellent adhesive ensures that the dressing remains firmly in place. Its highly absorbent pad provides cushioning as well as retaining fluid from the wound. It is soft on the skin, and its hypoallergenic fibres prevent irritation. Cosmopor is easy to apply, conformable, comfortable, and "performs brilliantly in the shower." Directions To use Cosmopor E Adhesive Sterile Dressings, first ensure the wound is clean. Then, select an appropriate dressing size based on the wound dimensions. Remove the dressing from its individual wrapper and apply it to the wound, ensuring the adhesive side is in contact with the skin. The non-adherent pad will protect the wound while the absorbent material retains fluid. The strong adhesive will keep the dressing in place, even during showering. Change the dressing as needed, typically when it becomes saturated or no longer adheres to the skin.
