Core Wool Felting Sliver for 3D and Wrapping Armature - choice of weight (200 gms)

• Core Wool Slivers in an off white colour - perfect for 3D needle felting and for wrapping around metal armature to create shapes
• A core sliver is different lengths of core wool which has been combed into a loose & bulky length of roving approx 1" (20mm thick) which is also easy to separate
• Will needle very fast into a 3D shape and does not require the same working as the softer Merino wool
• Whilst the product has been washed it is a natural product and small quantities of vegetable matter
• Whilst every effort will be made to despatch the sliver in one continuous piece this may not always be possible (especially with larger quantities)

Core Wool Sliver is different to the loose core wool fibres in that it has been combed into a loose length of roving approximately 1″ (20mm) thick and is easy to separate. It is perfect for 3D needle felting and ideal for wrapping around a wire armature to create shapes. This is a natural wool fibre which needle felts much quicker than the softer Merino rovings so it is used for the basic shape/s. This core wool sliver contains very little vegetable matter though a little can occur and as it has only gone through the washing process it can still smell ‘woolly’! Whilst every effort will be made to despatch this in one length this may not always be possible – especially with large quantities. All wool I sell is ethically sourced from non-mulesed sheep. Please note that whilst I try to get the colour on the photographs as accurate as possible all colour monitors do vary and it can be different to what you see on your screen - the sliver is an off-white and not bright white.
