• Material: U-shaped bracket made of steel Q235 (galvanized) with M4 thread. Clamp (clip) made of carbon steel C45 (1.0503) also galvanized. Ideal for home, garden, hobby or even sailing. Wire rope clips are used as screwable connections for ropes (rope connectors). The rope clamp (U-clamps) consists of a U-shaped screw (bracket), a yoke (clamping saddle or clamp) & two bolts. The ropes are placed in the U-screw and clamped with the help of the bolts.
• Certification: Steel wire rope clamp according to DIN 741 - Tested quality! If safety requirements are placed on rope connections (e.g. lifting of loads, as tensioning ropes in the building industry, in elevators, etc.), U-bolt clamps (U bolt saddle fastener) must not be used! The rope clips should only be used according to their technical parameters.
• Use: U Bolt Saddle Clamps are used to easily connect & secure wire ropes or to form a rope eye or eyebolt on a wire rope (with or without thimble). In contrast to press clamps, U-clamp terminals can be opened and reused for readjustment. If a rope eye or eyebolt is formed, corresponding thimbles can be used. Our rope clamps serve to connect & secure or to form rope eyes & eyebolts of wire ropes & other rope types. The rope clips are made of steel Q235 & carbon steel C1045. The rope grips are versatile & quick & easy to install. For this purpose, two rope pieces (which are to be firmly connected to each other) are usually inserted into the bracket & the two hexagonal bolts are tightened. The bolts push the yoke (clamping saddle) against the ropes & clamp them in the bracket. After the rope has been loaded for the first time, the bolts should be checked for tightness and corrected if necessary. Several clamps should be fitted one behind the other for secure fastening (connection). The U-clamps should also only be used according to their technical parameters & specifications & regularly checked & replaced at wear. The U-bolt saddle clamps (steel U-clamps) must not be used on ropes with any other than round braiding, ropes with plastic sheathing or spiral ropes. Even if safety requirements are placed on rope connections, e.g. when lifting loads, as tensioning ropes in the building industry, in elevators, cranes etc., these must also not be used.
