At last we come to the final CD in this twenty four CD compilation of the complete Stan Kenton Orchestra's 'Concerts in Miniature' series. Over the years a number of CDs have been issued of compilations of snippets from the large number of 'Concerts In Miniature' radio shows broadcast by Stan Kenton And His Orchestra. Here we have the twenty fourth of the series which has successfully attempted to cover all of these shows, complete in the original form of their presentation. On volume twenty four we feature the last two 'live' broadcasts, firstly from Birdland, New York City on the 27th October 1953. Secondly from Eastman School Of Music Theater, Rochester, New York on the 3rd November 1953. This series is bound to be popular with lovers of Stan Kenton's music who will for the first time hear all these live shows as they were originally broadcast. Please note for those who may have missed any of the series all previous issues are still available.
