• UK Mains 240V 10A IEC to 4 Gang Extension Lead – this cable is fitted with a C14 (Male) on one end and a 4 gang extension lead multi plug socket (UK) on the other. The cable is rated at a maximum of 10A.

This 2m IEC C14 male plug to 4 gang extension socket allows you to connect up to 4 devices which are fitted with a standard UK plug into a single IEC C13 socket on a UPS or IEC distribution board. Please ensure that the total rating of the devices plugged into the extension socket doesn’t exceed either 10A or the rating of the IEC socket being used on the UPS / IEC distribution board. It solves the problem of connecting devices to multiple rack mounted devices which often only have a standard IEC socket on them. This can often be an issue when installing the various IT hardware into a rack cabinet. Examples of this would be connecting up a laptop, router or PoE injector. The 2m length is ideal in this situation - long enough to reach but not so long that you have a lot of excess cable to cable tie and make neat. A flexible moulded collar on the end of the cable with the IEC plug protects the internal wires from any stresses or strains than might be applied to the cable whilst in use.
