About this item
  • PACK OF 8: One pack includes 8 activated carbon filters. One fitler can last approx 2 months 3 months normally. It will also depend on what is being put in the food waste caddy, the weather and many other factors, so it's possible that it lasts only few weeks. But anyway you can just replace it when you find it is not effective. Be warned, don't leave them in the bin too long or they will grow and accumulate rot.
  • SAFE MATERIAL: These activated carbon filters (fibrous) are made of high-quality powdered activated carbon as the adsorption material, and the polymer binding material is used to attach the carbon to the fiber. Thick and dense carbon filters can effectively absorb and capture food odor in the compost bin, they are environmental friendly, tear-resistant and safe to use.
  • UNIVERSAL SIZE: These carbon filters are designed to fit most compost bins up to 17cm. Each package comes with a free cutting template to cut your filter to the exact size that matches your bin (if required). The cutting template included is suitable for 14cm, 15cm, 16cm and 17cm filter sizes which fits most standard bins. These filters are 17cm themselves.
  • CLEAN AND FRESH KITCHEN: Helps absorb unpleasant odors. Stop odors escaping into the kitchen. keep the pesky flies away, especially in the summer. Keep your kitchen countertop clean and safe for the family.
  • ADVICE: These filters are not washable for recycling uses. And you should remove the filter before cleaning if you are rinsing the bin out. If you are only wiping the lid with a damp cloth then there is no need to remove the carbon filter. You can stick the filters on the back of the kitchen trash can lid with adhesive tapes.(P.S. Tapes are not included in the package)
