Product Description The EXECUTIVE EDITION version of the Citroen Traction 11CV BL, released under the license of the automotive giant from France, is a set consisting of a huge dose of history which you can build piece by piece! The original car was produced from 1937 to 1957. It was distinguished by a self-supporting body and front-wheel drive. The widely accepted and unofficial name of the car is Traction Avant, which means "front-wheel drive" in French. Our model is equipped with historical emblems of the French Internal Forces (fr. Forces françaises de l'Intérieur). The FFI was a unified organization uniting all parties of the French Resistance during World War II. An integral part of the set is a special figure of General Charles Delestraint. He was a famous general who was active in the Resistance and organized the resistance in Lyon. After a secret visit to London he was arrested by the Gestapo and shot in Dachau on April 19, 1945. In addition to the General you will also find a rank-and-file member of the French Resistance in a characteristic uniform and armband! The set is complemented by an exclusive black block-car display stand and a laser-engraved block with the model name. The Citroen Traction 11CV BL car was carefully recreated using COBI construction blocks. The car complements the rich collection of historic vehicles in 1:35 scale modeling.
