CLEAR POLYCARBONATE H-SECTION JOINT (Choice of sheet thickness, and length) Clear, H-profile joining strip, for seamless connections between polycarbonate sheets. Fits quickly and easily without any special tools. Suitable for 6mm, 10mm, and 16mm sheets, end-on-end, or side-to-side, in roofing and cladding projects. Designed as a one-part profile for strength, and with UV protection for longevity, polycarbonate H-sections are a great low-cost alternative to aluminium muntin bars. Technical Information Material: Polycarbonate Compatibility:6mm, 10mm or 16mm sheets* Length: 3m, 3.5m, 6m, 7m * The high flex in the profile, means that 6mm can be used for 4 to 6mm sheets, and 10mm for 8-10mm sheets. Fitting the Polycarbonate H-Section Feed the first sheet into one side of the H-section, then feed the second sheet into the opposite side. Leave a little space between the edge of the sheets, and the spine of the H-section. This will allow the sheets natural expansion and contraction. It is often recommended to run a bead of neutral cure silicone on the underside of the top face, to help seal and secure.
