Product description
Product description Citrus Feed – Summer is a high-nitrogen fertiliser specially formulated for all citrus plants. Ideal for potted citrus varieties like lemons, kumquats, and limes—which thrive outdoors in summer and can be moved indoors during colder months—this feed supports vigorous growth and improved fruiting. Its high nitrogen content helps prevent premature ripening, fruit drop, and leaf discolouration. Apply weekly from April to September, as citrus plants are heavy feeders and benefit from regular nourishment. During the warmer months, water freely but allow the surface soil to partially dry out between waterings. Citrus plants flourish in humid environments, though lemons and kumquats are generally more cold-tolerant, while limes and grapefruits require consistently warm conditions. With flowers that can bloom year-round and fruit that may take up to 12 months to ripen, growing citrus requires care and patience—but the results are well worth it. Ingredients nitrogen Directions Mix 5g (1 teaspoon) of Citrus Summer Feed in 2.5 litres (4 pints) water and apply weekly from April to September. Ensure the compost does not dry out between feeds, keeping soil moist, but not waterlogged. Safety Warning Always wear gloves and protective clothing when handling this product. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Do not apply in windy conditions to prevent drift and potential harm to surrounding plants or animals. Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Do not use on plants intended for human or animal consumption unless the plants have been thoroughly washed after treatment.
