- CHOY SUM SEEDS: Pick young buds and leaves for best texture and flavour. Harvest as 'cut and come again' crops for a longer season. Excellent source of Vitamin C.
- SOW: May to September, HARVEST: July to November, SPACING: 40cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 500 Approx.
- SOW OUTDOORS: Thinly where they are to crop, 1.5cm deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Sow from May for baby leaf, June onwards for full size plants. Allow 40cm between rows. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Keep well watered in dry spells.
- Harvest unthinned as baby leaves, or thin to 25cm apart to produce mature plants. Regular sowings made every two to three weeks will ensure a continuous supply. For 'baby leaf' pick a few leaves from each plant from approx. 5cm high, they will regrow for up to 4 'cuts'.
