Product description 1kg CrystalClear Chlorine Reducer and Bromine Reducer. A fast acting crystaline product used to lower bromine or chlorine levels in swimming pool, spa or hot tub water. Particularly useful after over shock treatments or as a problem solver if the water has been accidentally 'overdosed' with chlorine or bromine. The product is a very strong crystal formula! Only a small amount is needed to drastically reduce chlorine or bromine levels in pool, spa or hot tub water. For a typical hot tub containing 1000L of water one single teaspoon (approx 6g) will reduce chlorine levels by 1ppm. The crystals are even more effective with Bromine, adding one single teaspoon (approx 6g) to 1000L of water will reduce Bromine levels by 2.25ppm It is recommended to pre-dissolve the required amount in a clean plastic bucket of warm water first, stirring until fully dissolved before adding to your Pool, Spa or Hot Tub water while the jets/pumps are running to aid distribution in the water. For best result allow at least 1hr or circulation in the water before testing or adding any further crystals, as the product continues to reduce levels for sometime after being added. CrystalClear Chlorine / Bromine Reducer can save a great deal of time, effort and water from having to empty and refill swimming pool or hot tub water that has been over Chlorinated or Brominated. If applying after a shock treatment wait at least 8hrs for the shock treatment chlorination to oxidise bather waste from the water before application of this product. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN PRODUCT IS HYGROSCOPIC MEANING IT WILL ABSORB ANY MOISTURE FROM THE AIR SO PLEASE ENSURE THE LID IS PUT BACK ON IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE. ALWAYS READ LABEL BEFORE USE.
