The ChillMED Type 1 diabetic travel bag is simple yet versatile. Type 1 offers users a solid foundation for daily or weekly use, whether transporting diabetic supplies and insulin, or other medications that require refrigeration. The Type 1 bag is compact, durable, and comes in three great colors, Burgundy, Slate Grey, and Blue. Made from durable 600D Cordura and featuring a chilled side and a non-chilled side. We have improved construction to offer a more durable and higher quality bag that is better structured with top quality finishing, stitching and seam work. Fit Everything There is room for five vials, three pens and a single 6 oz freezable gel pack (which is included). The unchilled side includes two fastenable mesh pockets and two elastic straps and an additional slot for test strips which means your non chilled items are not going to shift around in your bag. The double no-snag zippers on each compartment makes the bag very easy to access when you most need it. Cooling Time The ChillMed Type 1 features two separate compartments: a chilled side and an unchilled side. This keeps the bag cooler longer because the cool temperature won’t escape when retrieving items from the unchilled side. The chilled side stays between 4.5° and 13°C for up to 6 hours.
